As I stepped inside, the mingling aromas of savory pho and freshly prepared ingredients enveloped me. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and enhances the overall dining experience. The open kitchen is a testament to their commitment to hygiene and transparency, allowing patrons to witness the care that goes into every dish.
Highlights of my visit included the celebrated Vietnamese pho. This isn't just any pho; it’s an exquisite bowl featuring mouthwatering beef brisket that truly shines. The broth is a masterclass—rich and clear, it boasts a deeply savory flavor profile that speaks to the hours of simmering it undergoes. Each sip is comforting, and its complexity echoes the culinary traditions of Vietnam. The brisket, cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection, elevated the dish to new heights with its tender texture and outstanding depth of flavor.
Another standout item was the Prawn Cake, prepared fresh to order. The crispy exterior gives way to generous pieces of shrimp that burst with flavor in every bite. A must-try for seafood lovers! Additionally, the traditional Vietnamese coffee with its strong nutty roast perfectly complemented the meal, leaving me feeling elated.
Customers rave about the service, noting the friendly and attentive staff that make the dining experience even more enjoyable. The option for free noodle refills ensures that you leave fully satisfied. As one patron aptly put it, Viet - Happy Valley is a hidden gem that deserves more attention in the bustling food scene of Hong Kong.

Vietnamese pho featuring mouthwatering beef brisket, focusing on key elements like the broth, beef quality, and overall experience: The broth itself was a masterclass in flavor – rich, clear, and deeply savory, with a comforting warmth that hinted at hours of patient simmering and a perfectly balanced mix of beef and bone marrow. But the true revelation was the brisket. Cooked to absolute melt-in-your-mouth perfection, the brisket was incredibly tender, with a depth of beefy flavor that was simply outstanding. Vietnamese coffee brewed the traditional way with a strong nutty dark roast topped off with this culinary joyful pho meal A must when exploring Happy Valley!

Very tasty pho! Not the best one that I have but quite a good one in Hong Kong! Open kitchen makes you assured of their hygiene procedure and food quality. The Viet Sandwich (Banh Mi) is actually a secret gem! Must order~. Great service from the staff as well!

Unpopular opinion, but I think it is the best pho in HK!!!!!! It is however small portion, remember to order more pho if you are hungry! The soup base is flavourful, the beef is better than other pho places, and do not forget to add beef balls! The prawn cakes are freshly made-to-order, they have big pieces of shrimp in it. The staffs are friendly and attentive.

Tried Raw Beef Pho, Prawn Cake and Lime Soda. The broth aroma is good. The shrimp cake is crispy and fresh-to-made with the just right seasoning. Love it. They are pricey but delightful. The dining area and toilet are clean!

Great Pho and appetizers. Only downfall- if you order takeaway appetizers, I was forced to pay for one box per order of appetizers when two orders could easily fit in ONE box… so they may have earned $4 extra dollars but their forcing customers trying to be a bit eco friendly to waste 2 perfectly not necessary PAPER (not reusable) boxes is VERY DISAPPOINTING! Even after I requested the items be combined in less boxes. The manager said “NO” they HAD to be put in separate boxes! It’s just such a waste of boxes…. It’s all moot if you eat in. Great prawn cakes with large pieces of shrimp inside. The fried chicken wings with a slight tempura batter on the outside is a hit or miss item( depends on how many orders they have to cook at one time - if no other orders, they come out better and more golden brown). The spring rolls must be eaten immediately, otherwise it gets a bit oily. The chicken roll is okay but must be drenched in nguc Nam sauce or chili sauce to MASK the frozen chicken taste…. The Vietnamese drip coffee is okay.

Great Pho that rivals anywhere else in the city. The noodle is nice and slippery, meat is of good quality, and soup is super delicious! My only two minor gripes are that my bowl had very little noodle for having indicated extra noodle. I felt like all the modifiers on the ordering form didn’t make much of a difference. Extra beef balls were also surprisingly expensive.
